Summary

Reporting to the US Civils CFO, the Senior Finance Manager will be managing various finance transformation projects across our national business as well as assist in executive reporting to UK parent company. This role will be partnering with our VP Controller and VP of Finance as well as various other functions in bettering the company's process, controls, sharing of best practices, and systems usage.

Essential Functions

Financial / Accounting Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives aligned with the business's goals. Identify areas for improvement and optimize financial processes, increase visibility of relevant data, and drive automation and digitization
  • Proactively recognize and assist in rolling out best practices across our various regions for continuous improvement in financial processes, tools and systems
  • Develop and execute training programs to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems
  • Monitor and report on the progress of finance transformation projects and track performance against targets
  • Play a critical role in developing, monitoring, and reporting on various risk identification and reporting needs
  • Review complex processes, calculations, and exposures and communicate results to leadership
  • Assist business with our Gated Business Lifecycle templates and processes (e.g. bid proposals)
  • Assist CFO and CEO in executive reporting upstream to UK parent; including monthly CEO reports, quarterly business reviews, board meetings and other ad hoc strategy updates

Working Conditions
  • This role is based in Dallas and would qualify for a flexible work arrangement
  • Periodic travel to US offices and jobsites would be required, up to 25% of time

Education, Experience, and Knowledge
  • Experience in project management or client service (e.g. consulting, assurance, etc)
  • CPA preferred
  • 8+ years of finance / accounting experience with strong knowledge of finance processes (financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting and reporting)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including ability to clearly and concisely obtain and relay information
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex finance initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Success-oriented, self-motivating, high energy, and confident personality that can interact with and influence all levels including senior management
