Full Job Description
As a Senior Finance Manager in Frederick, MD, you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives. Responsibilities:
  • Reviews monthly financial results and variance analysis for the site manufacturing income statement in coordination with our center of excellence team
  • Coordination in the compilation of a comprehensive monthly financial package
  • Able to provide analysis on calculating accruals/reserves
  • Provides guidance, insight and technical insight into the multi-year budgeting process
  • Able to provide guidance, support and then effectively communicate to multiple parties the impact the cost changes in our annual product cost setting process
  • Forecasting coordination with site leadership while making recommendations to support effective teams
  • Compliance - assists in the development and review of internal controls on a monthly basis for financial compliance and testing by internal and external parties.
  • Independently and timely performs non-recurring, one-off projects and other analysis as delegated by the site controller.
  • Analysis of complex income statement transactions and balance sheet entries and reconciliations
  • Reviews financial results monthly and provides variance analysis.
  • Partners with an off-site accounting group to effectively manage month-end processes and multi-year budgeting scenarios.
  • Works collectively with team to identify new processes and system improvement opportunities while working to resolve or escalates repetitive and/or complex discrepancies.
  • Independently functions to analyze gaps / issues related to manufacturing variances.
  • Partner with the site management to assess problems from multiple angles and develop recommendations.
  • Communicates both basic and advanced financial information to senior leaders including potential impacts and actions.


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or any relevant field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $132,827 to $199,240. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
