Job Description:

JJMT Electrophysiology (EP) and Neurovascular (NV), part of the Johnson & Johnson MedTech family of companies is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Director to lead EP US/Canada and Global Neurovascular. Reporting to the CFO of EP/NV, this role will be based in Irvine, CA.

Role Summary

This role will be the strategic finance leader for the EP business across US and Canada and Global NV franchise. You will drive regional and global execution in fast growing MedTech markets with annual sales of the responsible businesses >$3.5B. As a member of the US EP LT you will partner closely with commercial leadership (Field Sales, Marketing, Tech Services, Field Enablement, Commercial Operations, etc), cross-functional partners (IT, R&D, Supply Chain), and EP/NV WW FP&A to shape strategy, prioritize investments, and deliver sustainable financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial strategy and commercial finance support for US/Canada EP (including Sustainability Solutions) and Global NV: forecasting, monthly/quarterly reporting, and executive-level presentation of performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide finance leadership for commercial activities including P&L forecasting (Sales through Commercial Contribution), demand planning, NPI Launch, pricing strategy, incentive/commission strategy, and commercial pathway planning.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis; ensure accurate and timely FP&A deliverables aligned to enterprise planning cycles.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and sound professional judgment to assess business challenges and opportunities, applying excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering skills to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, complex matrix environment by working independently, influencing stakeholders, and managing multiple projects simultaneously and ad-hoc requests.
  • Act as a trusted business partner and finance voice in leadership forums, steering committees and cross-functional working groups.
  • Support enterprise programs (e.g., SIGNIFI/CFIN, TransACT, TranSCend, other strategic initiatives) - proactively identify risks/opportunities and enable smooth implementation from a finance perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, corporate policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.


Team & Leadership Skills
  • Lead, develop and coach a high-performing finance team (+15 directors/managers/analysts); provide clear direction, development feedback and regular performance reviews.
  • Provide oversight, direction and financial leadership to a cross-functional team supporting EP and Neurovascular commercial operations and global finance processes.
  • Build relationships across commercial leadership, global franchise leads, R&D, supply chain and regional finance teams to enable integrated decision making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of successful collaboration required
  • Lead and partner with senior finance leaders to develop the future finance talent pipeline and build a strong culture.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a strong mix of commercial finance, FP&A and business partnering in MedTech or related healthcare/medical devices environments.
  • At least 5 years of people management and team leadership experience; proven ability to develop talent and drive results through others.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting regional commercial and working with global franchise teams.
  • Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience in financial modeling, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerBI with strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise planning and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Anaplan, TM1, or similar) and CRM/ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and stakeholder management skills; able to influence at senior levels and work cross-functionally.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity and the ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations.
  • Ability to travel as required (up to 10%).


Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, CPA, CMA or other advanced finance certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in related MedTech businesses or other healthcare areas.

- The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

-Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

-Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

- Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

- Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period 10 days

- Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year

- Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
