Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Global Services Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Director, FP&A Global Services and Enterprise Procurement located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The Senior Director will help shape the future of finance for one of J&J’s most important enterprise platforms. This is a highly visible global leadership role with responsibility for strategic financial leadership, enterprise business partnership, planning and forecasting, performance management, controllership oversight, and value creation across Global Services, Enterprise Procurement, and key enterprise initiatives.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business priorities into clear financial strategies, executable plans, and disciplined resource allocation decisions. This role offers the opportunity to influence how Global Services invests, operates, transforms, and delivers sustainable value across Finance, Human Resources, Strategic Solutions, Commercial Services, and Enterprise Procurement.

This leader will play a critical role in advancing financial discipline, simplifying decision-making, strengthening compliance and controls, and enabling execution of transformation, productivity, investment prioritization, value realization, and cash flow improvement priorities. The role requires a leader who can balance strategic influence with operational rigor, inspire a large global team, and bring an enterprise mindset to complex business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership and FP&A

  • Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management across Global Services and Enterprise Procurement.

  • Own consolidated financial reporting, close analysis, forecast updates, risks and opportunities, and executive-ready insights for senior leadership.

  • Develop financial models, scenarios, investment cases, productivity tracking, and cost-benefit analyses that support enterprise prioritization and strategic decisions.

  • Establish consistent FP&A standards, timelines, governance routines, and performance visibility across global finance teams.

Enterprise Business Partnership and Decision Support

  • Serve as a senior financial advisor to Global Services, Enterprise Procurement, and Finance leaders, providing clear guidance on budget management, investment trade-offs, value creation, and financial strategy.

  • Represent Finance in key leadership forums, bringing enterprise perspective, financial insight, controllership discipline, and sound judgment to complex business discussions.

  • Translate complex financial information into concise recommendations that enable leaders to make informed decisions with speed and confidence.

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including regular in-person engagement in New Brunswick, to strengthen business intimacy and accelerate alignment.

Transformation, Value Creation, and Financial Governance

  • Provide financial leadership for enterprise transformation initiatives, operating model evolution, digital investments, productivity programs, and strategic projects impacting Global Services.

  • Evaluate business cases, project portfolios, organizational changes, and investment choices through disciplined scenario modeling, governance, and value realization tracking.

  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, optimize working capital, strengthen cash flow generation, and deliver sustainable financial outcomes.

  • Ensure strong governance over financial results, reporting processes and compliance.

Global Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a global finance organization of approximately 60 professionals across multiple regions.

  • Set the team vision, operating model, priorities, and performance expectations to deliver high-quality FP&A, controllership, business partnering, and decision support.

  • Build leadership capability, strengthen succession plans, and create development opportunities that advance talent, engagement, inclusion, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Champion collaboration, standardization, innovation, continuous improvement, and an enterprise mindset across functional and geographic boundaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred.

  • 12+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including senior leadership experience in FP&A, controllership, business partnering, and decision support within a complex global organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leaders, shape strategy, and drive value creation through financial insight, governance, and disciplined execution.

  • Deep understanding of planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, accounting principles, internal controls, compliance, and enterprise reporting requirements.

  • Experience supporting enterprise functions, shared services, Global Services, Procurement, HR, Finance, Supply Chain Services, or large-scale transformation initiatives preferred.

  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear executive recommendations.

  • Proven people leadership experience, including leading global teams, developing talent, building succession plans, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions, regions, and levels.Proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, Excel, financial modeling tools, and enterprise reporting capabilities; SAP, S/4HANA, CFIN, or transformation program experience is a plus.

  • Ability to operate with agility in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment while managing ambiguity and multiple priorities.

– The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

– Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year

– Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

–Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

– Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

–Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

– Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

– Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period 10 days

– Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

– Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
