Responsibilities
Responsibilities Partner with various business units and conduct multi-dimensional analyses to provide strategic financial guidance to aid business decision-making. Support the financial planning process including management closing, variance analysis, and forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely budget alignment for short- and long-term business goals. Monitor budget implementation and coordinate operational finance tasks. Conduct in-depth analyses of financial statements and business records to evaluate current financial performance, and to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to drive business growth and improvement. Drive collaboration with internal finance, business, and corporate teams to streamline financial practices and enhance efficiency. Conduct industry analyses and business intelligence research. Prepare reports for business leaders and organize business reviews of financial and operational data. Mentor junior-level team members.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Analytics (any), Management, Mathematics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Analytics (any), Management, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Project management, including defining project scope, developing detailed workplan, coordinating cross-functional collaboration, managing key stakeholders, and delivering strategic business outcome; Using SQL, Python, or R to analyze large datasets to define key metrics; and generating data visualizations with Tableau; Utilizing structured thinking and first-principles thinking to disaggregate complex business challenges, questions, or problems into clearly defined business strategy questions in order to answer them systematically; Consolidating and validating cross-functional strategies to enhance user experience throughout user lifecycle; Conducting qualitative primary and secondary research, including desktop research, expert interviews, or surveys, to generate market insights and inform critical business or product decisions; and Performing advanced quantitative analysis, including Excel-based financial modeling, to analyze a large quantity of financial, product, and operational data, to uncover business insights and inform resource allocation. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118435 - $220000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
