A Snapshot of Your Day (Position Overview)

As a Finance Analyst, you will serve as a key financial partner responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across the organization. Your day may include evaluating financial performance, developing forecasts, preparing executive-level financial reports, and advising business leaders on financial risks and opportunities. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and leadership teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain strong financial controls, and support data-driven decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to influence business strategy, improve financial performance, and provide expert guidance on complex financial matters across the organization.

  • Analyze revenues, liabilities, inventory, and business performance metrics to develop short-, medium-, and long-term financial forecasts, evaluate business performance, and support strategic financial planning initiatives
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of business proposals, investments, funding opportunities, and operational performance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, cost management, and financial outcomes
  • Lead forecast consolidation activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial projections that align with business objectives and management expectations
  • Provide financial support for pricing activities by evaluating cost impacts, profitability considerations, financial risks, and overall business alignment
  • Manage headcount and compensation reporting, delivering workforce cost transparency and actionable insights to support business planning and management decision-making
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, forecasts, audit documentation, and executive-level financial summaries to support leadership decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, accounting standards, regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and internal control frameworks while maintaining the integrity of financial systems, processes, and reporting activities
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance, support budget development, assess the impact of regulatory changes, and translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations
  • Serve as a financial subject matter expert by leading complex financial projects, driving process improvements, managing relationships with auditors and external stakeholders, and coaching junior finance professionals to support team development and performance

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, financial management, or a related finance role with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, corporate finance, cost accounting, financial reporting, GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience working with SAP, ERP systems, business intelligence tools, Power BI, Tableau, and financial reporting platforms, with the ability to independently manage complex financial analyses and reporting activities
  • Strong analytical, influencing, communication, report writing, process improvement, and problem-solving skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership and translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations
