Role Definition
  • Supports the Treasury department by formulating, proposing, and implementing interest rate risk and debt placement strategies to achieve the corporate business plan.


Responsibilities
  • Responsible of high complexity including conducting financing alternatives analysis, executing derivative trades and debt capital markets transactions, analyzing financial statements, and managing cash assets and bank accounts.
  • Lead projects to conclusion by compiling information, analyzing data, recommending and implementing solutions, and providing information and analysis used to make and/or influence business decisions. Typically, projects and decisions will impact medium to high-risk issues.
  • Expected to provide technical expertise and guidance to peers and recommendations to management on finance-related matters.
  • Produce monthly/quarterly reports for management on a wide variety of topics including external debt, liquidity forecasts, interest rate and F/X valuations, and asset-liability management.

  • Derivatives: Knowledge of the structure, attributes, uses, terminology and processing of basic derivatives; ability to use knowledge of derivatives appropriately.
  • Financial Markets: Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.
  • Investment Banking Services: Knowledge of the responsibilities, regulations, and business practices of investment banking; ability to operate mutual funds, securities and bonds, corporate debt underwriting, or mergers and acquisitions.

Compensation & Benefits:

Summary Pay Range:

$97,728.00 - $151,572.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
