Job Description

The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for performing financial reporting and analysis, supporting our annual strategic planning and annual operating plan processes, and providing financial support for our corporate functions as part of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team.

This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with company goals and to provide actionable insights that support decisions to enhance business performance. This role also supports the development of tools and processes that enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Corporate Function leaders to align financial plans with strategic objectives and ensure optimal capital allocation.
  • Works as an effective business partner to provide assistance and guidance on financial related issues by preparing accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Plays a critical role during quarter-end periods as a significant contributor to our external earnings call support and other investor relations ad hoc requests
  • Supports reporting for industry or end market analysis providing insight on trends within our businesses
  • Continuous improvement mindset, seeking opportunities to improve processes within our team and drive efficiency
  • Completes special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned


Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work as an effective business partner to resolve financial related issues by providing assistance and guidance on the method of allocation/assessments.
  • Prepares accurate and timely financial reporting, including working capital and forecasting reports in support of business reviews or decision making assessments.
  • Interprets financial results and provides recommendations for business segment.
  • Provides leadership and training on key financial and business segment initiatives.
  • Responsible for pricing administration, including integrity and continuous improvement of processes.
  • Responsible for the reconciliation and analysis of assigned general ledger accounts, including proposed adjustments and coordination with business units in compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Recommends and implements changes on financial accounts, reports and administrative or data processing systems.
  • Works across all levels of the business and corporate organizations and must be able to effectively engage vendor and/or customer organizations when appropriate.
  • Special projects/duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Finance or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in finance, accounting and financial analysis
  • Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion (HFM) and SAP
