Are you looking for a highly rewarding opportunity that provides extensive career growth opportunity? Next 150 Construction, a fully owned subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company is seeking an Senior Field Training Specialist to design and deliver hands-on training programs for field staff in a self-perform labor environment. This role ensures workforce readiness, safety compliance, and skill development aligned with operational goals.This role will sit primarily in the office, but travel to the project job sites meeting with the project teams and subcontractors.    Responsibilities
- Conducts skills gap analyses and recommend targeted training interventions - Measures training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; implements improvements as needed - Partners with project managers, superintendents, and HR teams to align training programs with operational goals - Develops and facilitates technical training programs tailored to craft labor workforce (union and non-union) and field management teams to increase workforce competency and readiness - Creates engaging curricula aligned with industry standards, company policies, and project requirements - Utilizes a variety of instructional methods, including hands-on demonstrations, simulations, and digital learning platforms - Develops and implements technical training curricula for craft labor roles - Conducts field-based training sessions and workshops on tools, equipment, and safety practices - Collaborates with field operations and HR to identify skill gaps and training needs - Evaluates training effectiveness and adjusts programs based on feedback and performance metrics - Maintains training records and ensures compliance with regulatory and internal standards - Supports onboarding of new hires with foundational technical training - Partners with safety teams to integrate safety protocols into technical instruction - Contributes to the development of career pathways and upskilling initiatives Qualifications

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Construction, or related field preferred - 5+ years of experience in construction or technical training - OSHA certification or equivalent safety training credentials preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design - Strong communication and facilitation skills - Experience with LMS platforms and training documentation - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams   Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
