Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree or Technologist Diploma
• 5+ years in electrical and automation systems installation, servicing, or commissioning
• Strong background in crane electrical systems, industrial software, PLCs, HMI, VFDs, switchgear, and network commissioning
• Proficient in MS Office and possesses a strong mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including weekends and holidays, with a valid driver's license and vehicle access.

Responsibilities

• Follow ABB Health & Safety policies for assigned jobs.
• Lead or assist in new and retrofit projects for smooth execution.
• Travel to resolve equipment issues and optimize crane system performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, prepare job plans, and present service recommendations.
• Implement crane system improvements and upgrade obsolete automation.
• Coordinate technical discussions and identify additional value opportunities for ABB.
