Responsibilities

Full Job Description
Job Family:

What You Will Do:
  • Perform budget execution activities as assigned. This may include extracting, analyzing, summarizing and preparing data for presentation from the financial system, travel system, purchase card tool, etc.
  • Manage multiple Spend Plans, conduct reconciliation between the financial reports and the spend plan; identify inconsistencies or imbalances, collaborate with stakeholders and provide recommendation / mitigation strategy to address the issues/concerns.
  • Track commitments, obligations, expenditures using systems like the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS).
  • Provide support in building and maintaining budget dashboards in PowerBI.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare complex financial reports and briefings.
  • Allocate and track funding across multiple subdivisions and program codes.
  • Reconcile plan funding with actual expenditures.


What You Will Need:
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • SEVEN (7) or more years experience in the federal budget process, federal budget lifecycle, and the federal procurement process
  • Proficient in MS applications: including Excel, Word, PPT, PowerBI
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
