Overview

Garmin Int'l Inc. seeks Senior ERP Application Analyst (Olathe, KS; Multiple Positions):
  • Gathers and documents detailed requirements for business projects and determines moderately complex solution designs.
  • Evaluates new technologies for improving existing functions and offers suggestions for design options to execute improvements.
  • Implement, configure, and support Oracle eBusiness Suite applications as well as other business applications.
  • Gathers and documents detailed requirements for business needs and independently determines moderately complex solutions designs.
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding and execution of the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrates mastery of troubleshooting and research tools (i.e. myOracleSupport, e-TRM, Implementation Guides, etc.) to complete complex troubleshooting.
  • Identifies interdependencies in programs and comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Offers suggestions to improve processes and design options for executing those improvements.
  • Evaluates new technologies for improving existing functions and determines feasibility of team or functional goals/objectives.
  • Understands business impacts of issues as they relate to IT owned solutions. Provides reliable solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Demonstrates broad understanding of Garmin's business model including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing.
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced Application Analysts.
  • This is an individual contributor role.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business with Enterprise Systems in Business (ESB)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) coursework or related IT degree plus 5 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Application.

Demonstrated experience in the following:
  • Oracle EBS versions R12 or above
  • ERP module suites: Finance, Order and Supply Chain Management
  • E-commerce applications (Oracle interface)
  • SQL and PL/SQL
  • Oracle data loader or SQL Loader
  • Oracle Workflows, Forms and Reports
  • SDLC Process

In lieu of a Bachelor's plus five years of experience, a Master's plus three years of experience in the requirements noted above is acceptable.
