Job Description:Responsible for understanding system build and implementation, analyzing business problems, and recommending solutions to maintain clinical and business systems. This position provides a secure, effective, integrated patient care delivery system that improves outcomes, reduces costs, increases efficiency, and enhances patient experiences. Additionally, this role collaborates with clinicians and end users to design, build, test, train, implement, evaluate, and maintain Epic and other associated systems. In addition, this position utilizes knowledge of clinical practice, computer science, and information technology to manage data and determine suitable components while maintaining professional standards. Ultimately, this role coordinates with physicians and end users to analyze workflows, perform gap analysis, identify needed process changes, and develop future workflows during the implementation of new solutions or functionality.
- Leads the Clinical Data Integration Team in developing electronic documentation solutions that support clinical workflows and align with best practices.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Epic, third-party solutions, and Microsoft products to effectively manage and integrate clinical data.
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with stakeholders to capture business and technical requirements.
- Assesses workflow processes, identifies gaps, defines necessary changes, and develops future workflows for new solutions or functionality.
- Designs, builds, and configures within Epic modules and supporting third-party applications to meet clinical and business needs.
- Maintains system process documentation and implements requested changes to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Develops test scripts and materials for end-to-end workflow testing to validate system functionality and performance.
- Performs unit, system, and integration testing, including negative and regression testing, and documents outcomes for quality assurance.
- Stays current on industry trends and updates to ensure the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions.
- Ensures software and hardware modifications/upgrades meet Epic and third-party specifications for optimal system performance.
- Adheres to departmental standards for software configuration control, quality assurance, and version releases to maintain system reliability.
- Provides documentation on system upgrades and new Epic releases to keep all stakeholders informed and trained.

Education: - Bachelor's in Pharmacy [Required]
Field of Study: Work Experience: - 3+ clinical/technical background [Required]
- 3+ experience with clinical/technical system application implementation with cerner [Required]
- 5+ clinical or technical background [Preferred]
- EMR application/implementation experience [Preferred]
- Experience with leading small groups or projects [Required]

Pay Range:$110,702.15 - $205,911.28
