The Senior EMR Analyst 6 CINCI Lab supports Electronic Medical Record (EMR) applications and technology critical to laboratory operations and patient care delivery. This role partners with clinical, laboratory, operational, and technical teams to develop, implement, maintain, and optimize software solutions that support efficient laboratory workflows and the accurate and timely delivery of patient care.

This senior-level position requires in-depth technical and functional knowledge developed through significant experience supporting complex EMR environments. The Senior EMR Analyst works with a high degree of independence, leads moderately complex projects and initiatives, troubleshoots and resolves complex system issues, and partners with end users and cross-functional teams to identify and implement effective solutions. The role may also provide guidance, training, and mentorship to other team members.

This position is essential to sustaining CINCI Lab operations, maintaining appropriate team capacity, and ensuring critical EMR and laboratory-related responsibilities are completed effectively and on time. Filling this role will help reduce resource constraints, support existing staff, and maintain progress on key operational and organizational priorities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Build/Configuration/Release Management

• Analyze, design, implement, and maintain complex systems that greatly improves clinical care and patient management.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced EMR requests.

• Develop and manage project plans and other project- related documentation for complex projects.

• Independently prioritize assigned tasks and projects.

• Coordinate and facilitate communication between internal and external parties on assigned tasks and related issues.

• Consult with and support the end user community to develop and validate requirements for system solutions.

• Work with 3rd-party developers to review potential software development solutions for integrated build issues.

Manage Customer Relationships

• Develop collaborative professional relationships with customer group and key stakeholders.

• Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of Service Level Agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered incident management and support.

• Plan, execute, and support a user base through clinical system training and the creation and curation of expert education and training materials.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of one or more current Epic certifications, such as:

• Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation

• Epic Ambulatory

• Epic Inpatient Procedure Orders

• Epic Cadence

• Grand Central

• Other Epic certifications related to clinical care delivery.

• Comprehensive understanding of Epic workflows and how they integrate across diverse clinical and operational areas.
