Full Job Description
As a Sr. Environmental Project Manager supporting our growing team in Philadelphia, PA, your expertise will directly contribute to site assessment and remediation projects that improve the community's environmental health. Working primarily in Philadelphia, you will work with the city agencies supporting due diligence, redevelopment, and other consulting needs as they arise. As a prominent member of the team, you will also play a key role in mentoring and fostering the professional development of emerging talent.

A successful Senior Project Manager in this role will demonstrate the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and drive complex projects, from initiation to completion, with clarity and purpose. They will possess strong analytical and technical skills and have a track record of producing high-quality deliverables. They will embrace coaching, knowledge sharing, diverse perspectives, and foster a workplace where people thrive and ideas flourish.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage diverse, fast-paced projects involving multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and maintain client relationships as primary or secondary client contact for projects
  • Lead selling and cross-selling efforts (Geotech, Civil, Environmental Health and Safety)
  • Lead in the development of strategy, the scope of work, and the budget for projects
  • Track work progress relative to project schedules and budgets
  • Lead safety culture within the project team or unit, including following safety protocols for all projects
  • Manage project metrics, WIP, and AR
  • Supervise and provide work assignments to the project team
  • Prepare, provide technical input, and/or review reports
  • Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards
  • Interact with regulatory agencies, knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client review.
  • Plan and execute work tasks, as well as oversee tasks of team members, to meet project deadlines
  • Solve problems creatively and effectively, and make informed decisions
  • Collaborate across multiple disciplines and with clients to articulate and achieve project goals
  • Mentor staff in required technical skills
  • Possess detailed knowledge of regulations in the area of practice
  • Motivate and encourage others, and help the team achieve success


What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental engineering or geology/hydrogeology from an accredited institution
  • 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience
  • 7 to 15 of experience working in an environmental consulting environment
  • Licensed PE or PG in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Experience with federal and Pennsylvania environmental regulations
  • Must possess a valid driver's license


Salary Range:

The compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
