Full Job Description
This role can sit anywhere in Florida and be either remote or go into one of our local offices.

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Environmental Project Engineer:
  • Provide senior technical oversight and perform project work.
  • Write and review technical reports and proposals.
  • Assist with project management activities.
  • Engineer design of environmental projects under senior engineer oversight.
  • Mentor and train scientific staff and supervise work.
  • Conduct field-based activities such as site inspections, remedial system startups, O&M trouble shooting.
  • Assist with installing, operating, and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation systems.
  • Manage and oversee equipment vendors in the field.
  • Ensure safe work practices on all project work.
  • Actively develop your own career growth.

What we're looking for:
  • BS in Environmental Engineering
  • PE Certification
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
  • Experience with environmental remediation including soil, soil gas, and groundwater treatment systems
  • Familiarity / exposure with the FDEP Petroleum Response Program
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
  • Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness
  • Strong safety record and understanding of safe work practices
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify, collect, organize, and document information and data.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
  • 10-15% fieldwork/travel to support and oversee pilot tests, system optimization, system startups, and pre-construction meetings.
