Senior Enterprise Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Enterprise Project Manager leads complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that support strategic, clinical, operational, regulatory, and technology priorities in a health care setting. This role partners with executive sponsors, clinical and operational leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to manage project scope, governance, timelines, budgets, risks, communications, implementation, and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex enterprise projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and patient care priorities.
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, governance, risks, issues, resources, communications, and success measures.
  • Partner with executive sponsors, clinical and operational leaders, information services, finance, compliance, quality, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate decision-making, resolve barriers, escalate risks, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Support implementation planning, change management, training coordination, go-live readiness, transition to operations, and post-implementation review.
  • Prepare clear project communications, including status reports, executive updates, meeting materials, presentations, and lessons learned.
  • Mentor project team members and contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise project management practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Advanced project management skills, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, issue, resource, governance, communication, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of health care operations, clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, patient privacy, quality improvement, and information systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, build relationships, manage competing priorities, resolve conflict, and drive accountability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management software tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education, Experience, & Licensure
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business administration, information systems, clinical discipline, project management, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive project management experience required, including complex, cross-functional, enterprise-level projects. Health care experience strongly preferred.
  • Certification/Licensure: PMP, PgMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred.
  • Other: Experience with project portfolio management, collaboration, reporting, and dashboard tools preferred.
