Position Description: Senior Enterprise Data Specialist
In this key role, you will contribute to the evolution of enterprise-wide data management practices by collaborating with business leaders, architects, technology teams, and data experts to build strong foundations for decision-making, innovation, and growth.
You will play a leading role in enhancing data governance, data quality, Master Data Management (MDM), and the identification and remediation of Critical Data Elements (CDEs).

Your future duties and responsibilities: Your Role and Responsibilities
Data Governance Leadership
* Assess current data management practices and recommend improvements in data governance, data quality, Critical Data Elements (CDEs), and Master Data Management (MDM).
* Develop and implement repeatable methodologies to identify, prioritize, and remediate critical data elements.
* Ensure alignment between governance practices, enterprise data architecture, data stewardship models, and business processes.
Data Transformation and Optimization
* Lead critical data remediation initiatives by facilitating workshops, analyzing data usage, and developing actionable remediation plans.
* Identify opportunities to enhance data management capabilities in support of strategic business objectives.
* Design transformation roadmaps and prioritization frameworks that promote sustainable data management practices.
Master Data Management (MDM)
* Define and evaluate high-value MDM use cases.
* Contribute to solution assessments, business case development, evaluation criteria, and implementation planning.
* Map value streams related to master data domains, particularly suppliers and materials, to clarify business value, accountability, and priorities.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
* Work closely with business, data, and technology teams to understand and optimize data usage across sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and technology functions.
* Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Collaborate with program leadership, business subject matter experts, data stewards, architects, analysts, and technical teams to ensure successful adoption of data initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: What You Bring
Experience and Expertise
* 8+ years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality, Master Data Management (MDM), data architecture, or enterprise data consulting.
* Significant experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
* Proven experience evaluating MDM or enterprise data management solutions, including use case development, business benefit analysis, evaluation criteria, and value stream mapping.
* Strong understanding of enterprise data governance principles and industry best practices.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000-$155,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
