Full Job Description
Worldsource operates within the wealth management and insurance distribution sector, supporting independent advisors through investment, advisory, and financial services platforms. Reporting directly to the CTO, the Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise architecture strategy while leading a team of architects responsible for solution, application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security architecture. The role ensures that technology investments and transformation initiatives align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and the broader strategic direction of the Desjardins Group. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the Enterprise Architect drives architectural excellence, technology modernization, governance, and innovation across the organization. More specifically, you will be required to:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance architecture team by establishing clear priorities, performance goals, and development plans, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead architecture governance activities, including architecture reviews and approvals, by identifying architectural risks, inefficiencies, technical debt, and improvement opportunities, while driving technology standardization, rationalization, and modernization to ensure a secure, efficient, and sustainable evolution of the technology landscape.
  • Build and evolve the capabilities, principles, standards, frameworks and enterprise architecture governance processes that support organizational objectives and future growth.
  • Develop and maintain current-state and target-state architectures and roadmaps, while ensuring that technology investments and transformation initiatives are aligned with the business strategy and create measurable value.
  • Collaborate with business and technology leaders to translate strategic priorities into architectural directions, while balancing local business needs with corporate standards, risk considerations and strategic objectives. Collaborate with architecture, technology, security, and governance stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategies and maximize the use of shared capabilities and services.
  • Provide architectural leadership in the areas of applications, data, integration, infrastructure, cloud and security by reviewing solutions and ensuring they are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Drive the company's transformation and modernization initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, promoting innovation, automation, operational excellence and data-driven decision-making, while acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.

What you bring to the table
