Position Overview

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking a Senior Engineering Liaison to join the Gainesville, VA team. Provide technical leadership services for engineering, science, archeology, WOUS permitting/regulatory, survey, and aerial drone services. Apply broad knowledge of principles and practices and functions to lead and serve as supervisory Professional Engineer for multidisciplinary teams to work on multiple projects or portions of major projects. Perform research, computer-aided design work, and assist with proposals and interaction with clients, officials and contractors. Oversee junior engineers work in the field within the same MSA.

Qualifications

Need Master of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering or Environmental Engineering. Need 3 years of post-grad, progressive experience as an Environmental Engineer, Water Resource Design Engineer, or Project Engineer that includes providing stream restoration engineering services. Need 2 years of experience with COE/DEQ WOUS permitting. Must have been a sealing engineer for 5 projects relating to stream restoration. Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer. Also need VDOT Advanced Work Zone and Traffic Control Certification.

Additional Information

Offered salary: $141,752 - $150,000 per yr.
