Job Title: Senior Engineer, Quality QMS & Audit

The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is currently hiring for Senior Quality Engineer for our Utica, NY location. The Senior Engineer, Quality supports Quality Management System maintenance, internal audits, external audits, document control, corrective action tracking, compliance, and audit readiness for the Utica liquid-cooling manufacturing and distribution site.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain and improve QMS procedures, records, document control, training records, process documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Plan and support internal audits, external audits, customer audits, layered process audits, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Track findings, containment actions, root cause analysis, corrective actions, closure evidence, and effectiveness checks.
  • Train process owners on QMS requirements, document control, audit preparation, corrective action standards, and evidence expectations.
  • Analyze QMS trends, audit findings, overdue actions, document changes, and recurring compliance gaps to recommend improvements.
  • Support document creation and revision for work instructions, procedures, forms, inspection records, control plans, and process maps.
  • Verify that manufacturing, distribution, incoming inspection, calibration, nonconforming material, and corrective action processes are followed.
  • Coordinate audit schedules, agendas, escorts, evidence packages, response timing, and closure documentation.
  • Ensure document revisions, obsolete document controls, approval routing, and controlled copy practices are maintained.
