As our new Senior Engineer, Product, you will...

Play a key role in strengthening the performance, reliability, and competitiveness of our Aeroquip Fluid Conveyance products. You will lead high-impact engineering initiatives that support product quality, accelerate technical problem solving, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle, with a focus on Rubber Hydraulic Hose Products.

Your impact? You will help deliver reliable and innovative engineering solutions that improve product performance, optimize cost, and support customer satisfaction. Your work will directly contribute to successful product improvements, faster issue resolution, and stronger cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading complex engineering initiatives supporting existing Aeroquip Fluid Conveyance products, including technical support, cost-out activities, product dispositions, and design improvements
  • Developing product designs by defining geometry, materials, concepts, and technical specifications while validating design decisions through engineering calculations and analysis
  • Collaborating with cross-functional and global teams, including drafting resources and manufacturing partners, to coordinate prototypes, testing, and product implementation activities
  • Applying advanced engineering tools, structured problem-solving methods, and performance analysis to resolve technical challenges and improve product reliability
  • Managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously while ensuring clear communication, technical reporting, milestone execution, and alignment across stakeholders
  • Partnering with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, product management, and engineering teams to solve technical challenges and support business objectives
  • Investigating product performance issues, evaluating root causes, and implementing engineering solutions that improve reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Leading product improvement, cost reduction, and technical support projects for Aeroquip hydraulic hose products and related fluid conveyance solutions
  • Reviewing test data, engineering analyses, and product requirements to make informed technical decisions and recommendations
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating activities across global teams and maintaining alignment with key milestones


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
  • Must be within 50 miles of the Van Wert, OH; Maumee, OH; or Mountain Home, AR facility. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in product engineering or manufacturing engineering within industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of engineering analysis, advanced problem-solving methodologies, product testing, and technical documentation.
  • Experience leading complex engineering projects, collaborating across functions, and supporting product improvement initiatives.
