Job Description:Microchip Technology is looking for a qualified
Senior I Process Engineer working the day shift who will sustain and improve Fab-4 Thin Films/Chemical Mechanical Polishing processes.
- Perform tests to improve yield and reliability, qualify new processes/equipment, improve cycle time, and reduce cost
- Analyze, summarize and communicate test results
- Support critical quality systems: PFMEA, SPC, MPSP, MSA, and Sustaining Change Control
- Troubleshoot equipment and process problems
- Rework and disposition non-conforming product lots
- Write process specifications and reports
- Support Production as required
- Knowledge of basic statistics is preferred
Requirements/Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree - Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or related discipline
- 5-6 years of experience in Semiconductor CVD/PVD/CMP process engineering
- Proficiency in written and oral communication
- Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
- Initiative to work independently and keep projects on schedule
- Proven reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality a must
Preferred Qualifications - Strong background in chemistry
- Semiconductor technology and/or manufacturing experience
Special Requirements- Must work on site 5 days a week during standard first shift hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM or similar).
- Flexible work schedule for occasional training and project support
