Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new role
- Provide technical support to customers during the evaluation and development of their systems related to automotive ethernet PHYs
- Perform hands-on bring-up and debug of customer boards and evaluation kits for issue replication
- Closely follow and check customer technical issues
- Prepare and execute application training sessions and trade show demonstrations
- Developing and delivering customer-facing technical collateral including integration guides, application notes, and API documentation including training sessions
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (~10%)
- Work with cross-functional teams, including product management, design engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of product capabilities with customer needs.
Your ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar field
- At least 3 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer, Systems Engineer in automotive or ethernet applications. With hands-on experience in debugging
- Understanding of SerDes protocols and interfaces like: XFI/10GBASE-R, USXGMII, SGMII/RGMII, xxBASE-T1, I2C, MDC/MDIO
- Skills in C, Python programming, scripting, schematics review, PCB layout review
- Knowledge of Ethernet PHYs (1000BASE-T1/Mutli-GigBASE-T1), Bridges products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a proactive, autonomous, and team-oriented mindset with a strong drive to succeed
In the United States, it is required to disclose a salary range to applicants. The Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate in the United States is:San Jose, Ca. Minimum of $106,900 base salary per year / Maximum of $147,000 base salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
