THE ROLE

As we continue to grow our portfolio of enterprise customers, it's critical that we nurture partner employees and effectively guide them through the Pathstream experience to drive customer activation, retention, growth, and happiness. Lifecycle Marketing touches every aspect of our business - from enrolling learners in programs to launching new partners, activating partner employee accounts, and keeping them actively engaged with Pathstream over the long term. Each of these initiatives ties directly to revenue opportunities and our ability to grow with our B2B partners.

Pathstream is seeking a Senior Engagement Marketing Manager to own learner engagement and retention strategy, quickly ramp up on our B2B2C audiences, and manage the communications our users receive to increase engagement and revenue opportunities through program enrollment and completion. Working with the Lifecycle and Customer Success teams, you will own the strategy, design, implementation, and optimization of personalized campaigns across email, SMS, and similar channels, ensuring learners are supported and motivated to achieve their goals.

As a critical cross-functional leader, you'll work closely with Marketing peers and the Product and Engineering teams to ensure accurate data tracking, use data to build personalized segmentation and content, and incorporate product-led growth strategies into the learner journey. You'll also collaborate with our Customer Success team and corporate clients to tailor campaigns that align with user needs and partner goals.

This role combines creative problem-solving, technical expertise, and analytical thinking to deliver measurable outcomes and meaningful engagement.

What you'll do:

Drive Learner Activation and Engagement:

  • Develop behavioral campaigns using platform data to deliver personalized, data-driven messaging at scale.

Tailor Campaigns for Corporate Clients:
  • Align lifecycle strategies with client business objectives and employee needs.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to identify and execute awareness campaigns across internal partner channels
  • Drive results that align with the desired business impact for Pathstream partners and inspire program growth.

Collaborate on Product-Led Growth:
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to ensure proper data tracking, integrate lifecycle campaigns with existing and new product features, and identify opportunities to improve the customer journey.
  • Build growth opportunities that seamlessly enhance engagement and retention across individualized user journeys.

Optimize Campaigns:
  • Analyze performance metrics with tools such as Hex, Amplitude, and FullStory to uncover insights, refine lifecycle strategies, and help employees make the most of their Pathstream experience.
  • Run tests and experiments to establish performance baselines and improve timing, messaging, and channel optimization to maximize engagement.

Refine Messaging:
  • Work closely with our Content and Design team to create compelling, purposeful content that speaks to learners' motivations and challenges.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with Pathstream's mission and goals across your client portfolio.

Scale Engagement Efforts:
  • Develop scalable systems and processes to support learner engagement while maintaining personalization and quality.
  • Contribute to product experiments and bring actionable insights to broader marketing strategies.
