Overview:


Provide strategic insights to help design, develop, and implement partnership programs with industry leaders to save energy and increase energy productivity. ICF solves the most challenging issues facing the energy industry today while informing the future of global energy use. 


ICF is seeking a tenured expert in energy partnership programs, specifically Federal programs such as ENERGY STAR.  Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and fast-to-respond to help clients implement and evolve their energy saving programs.


Successful candidates will support the strategic design and implementation of important program administration initiatives and organization/CRM management, stakeholder engagement practices, and efficient implementation of overall program activities and communication to/from stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the energy efficiency market/supply chain and be able to use that knowledge and their networks (e.g., in industry, utilities, and states) to conduct stakeholder outreach, facilitate industry engagement, and assure effective implementation of government public-private partnerships.

What you will be doing:


  • Work closely with clients to develop strategies for energy partnership programs.
  • Collaborate with government clients to facilitate successful and efficient program implementation.
  • Engage industry stakeholders to gather information that increases the value of their program participation.
  • Communicate with internal subject matter experts via written materials and meetings to promote knowledge sharing, consistency of approach, and cross-collaboration.
  • Provide strategic direction on large program CRM needs and best practices that benefit both program administrators and program partners. 
  • Assess the best use of APIs that help program partners interact with program resources.
  • Manage, analyze, and report on high volumes of program data contained in databases, websites, and other lists and contribute suggestions for data gathering mechanisms.
  • Develop and review high-quality written products, such as marketing plans, market assessments, marketing campaign reports, and reports that analyze industry and program trends.
  • Create and edit partner outreach materials such as reporting forms, applications, and targeted stakeholder correspondence.
  • Facilitate the dissemination of clear, compelling messaging to communicate with a wide variety of audiences about program initiatives, data trends, or implementations progress.
  • Identify and implement creative opportunities to streamline administrative processes.
  • Establish and contribute to task schedules to ensure contract deliverable requirements are met on time and within budget.

 Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., environmental studies, public policy, physical/natural sciences). 
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in public sector energy, sustainability, or partnership programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Project Manager (PMP) or similar qualifications.
  • 8+ years of experience with ENERGY STAR and/or other efficiency/sustainability tools and program platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Market Transformation strategy and execution.
  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and long- and short-term planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and contribute as a team player.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$89,649.00 - $152,404.00
