About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Consultant to join the Behavioral Risk Consulting (ER‑BRC) team. The consultant provides expert guidance on complex employee situations, conducts behavioral risk and threat assessments, develops risk mitigation strategies, and supports multidisciplinary response efforts. This role partners closely with Employee Relations, Human Resources, Corporate Security, Legal, Investigations, and business leaders to assess concerns involving threatening behavior, suicide risk, stalking, domestic violence, and other employee behavioral risks.

Key Responsibilities
Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management (BTAM)
  • Conduct behavioral threat assessments involving employees, contractors, and other workplace stakeholders.

  • Assess and manage cases involving erratic or concerning behaviors, in partnership with other corporate stakeholders.

  • Evaluate suicide risk and self-harm concerns impacting the workplace and coordinate appropriate intervention strategies.

  • Develop and recommend risk mitigation and management plans to address identified threats and behavioral risks.

  • Monitor ongoing cases and adjust risk management strategies as new information emerges.

  • Participate as a key member of multidisciplinary threat assessment and management teams.

Project Leadership & Program Development
  • Lead and support assigned projects related to workplace violence prevention, behavioral risk management, employee well-being, and threat assessment practices.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices in threat management and workplace safety.

  • Contribute to organizational reporting, trend analysis, and program effectiveness initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Employee Relations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Experience conducting behavioral threat assessments and managing complex workplace risk cases, Security, Investigations, Behavioral Risk Management, Workplace Violence Prevention, or a related discipline.

  • Experience partnering with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal, Security, and Investigations.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Organizational Psychology, or related field.

  • Certified Threat Manager (CTM) or formal training in behavioral threat assessment, threat management, workplace violence prevention, risk assessment, or crisis intervention.

  • Experience managing suicide risk, employee mental health concerns, or behavioral risk cases in a corporate environment.

  • Employee Relations consulting experience within a large, complex organization.

  • Experience participating in or leading multidisciplinary threat assessment and management teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
