Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with a minimum GPA of 3.3; M.S. or PhD is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of embedded software or controls development experience, with strong C/C++ proficiency
• Experience in developing and managing software and system requirements, including traceability
• Proficient in software debugging and using standard hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR program restrictions

Responsibilities

• Develop software architectures and implement reliable embedded software in C/C++
• Establish and maintain software development processes and pipelines
• Provide technical guidance through code reviews and mentorship for junior engineers
• Define clear software requirements and ensure traceability to test cases
• Design and execute testing to ensure compliance with software requirements
• Integrate hardware by performing board bring-up and debugging
• Maintain version control and configuration management standards
