Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr Embedded Platform Engineer with strong low-level embedded systems expertise and a proven background in developing MCU device drivers and embedded firmware for complex real-time systems. The role will focus on low-level firmware architecture, MCU peripherals, hardware bring-up, integration, debugging, and real-time embedded development across hardware and software boundaries. Candidates should have hands-on experience developing device drivers and working with safety-oriented microcontrollers and communication interfaces in complex embedded environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain low-level embedded firmware and device drivers for complex real-time systems.
• Design and implement embedded firmware architecture using C/C++ for microcontroller-based platforms.
• Develop and debug MCU peripherals, interrupts, timers, watchdogs, memory, clocks, ADC, PWM, GPIO, and communication interfaces.
• Develop and integrate software for real-time microcontroller platforms such as TI C2000, NXP, or comparable safety-oriented MCUs.
• Implement and support communication interfaces and protocols including CAN, CAN derivatives, SPI, and Ethernet.
• Perform hardware bring-up, lab validation, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Integrate and debug software across hardware, firmware, and system boundaries.
• Perform low-level debugging and root-cause analysis of embedded software and hardware integration issues.
• Support real-time firmware development for safety-oriented embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineering teams to validate embedded functionality and resolve integration issues.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience developing embedded firmware for complex real-time systems.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ and real-time firmware architecture.
• Hands-on experience developing MCU device drivers.
• Experience with real-time microcontroller platforms such as TI C2000, NXP, or comparable safety-oriented MCUs.
• Strong understanding of MCU peripherals, interrupts, timers, watchdogs, memory, clocks, ADC, PWM, GPIO, and communication interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as CAN, CAN derivatives, SPI, and Ethernet.
• Proven ability to integrate and debug software across hardware, firmware, and system boundaries.
• Experience supporting hardware bring-up, lab validation, and HIL testing.
• Strong analytical skills and low-level debugging capabilities.
