ABOUT THE TEAM
The Anduril Battlespace Awareness Radar team develops state-of-the-art radar systems, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies. The Radar team is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Test Technician to support the next generation of US radars. The Radar team is responsible for all aspects of radar system development, from the ideation stage through initial production. In this role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary technical team to support integration of state of the art radar systems, including testing, debugging, and hardware fixes.
ABOUT THE JOB
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Setup, execute and analyze test experiments per test procedures and record findings into test records.
  • Support with builds of test harnesses, racks, and environmental setups, including hands-on soldering and cable assembly.
  • Update existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, and coverage per engineering instructions.
  • Proficient at troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronics and integrated circuits to the component level.
  • Maintenance and calibration of electrical and/or mechanical test equipment.
  • Create assembly instructions and bill of materials for test equipment and fixtures.
  • Document test plans, user instructions and manuals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Travel to test sites and external laboratories as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of experience working across hardware, software, and networking interfaces.
  • 3+ years of experience using, testing, or integrating radio frequency (RF) systems.
  • Proficiency in soldering (through-hole and surface mount) and cable building/assembly.
  • Familiarity with reading electrical system and component schematics.
  • Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to pivot quickly between tasks and prioritize simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs unassisted.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience working across hardware, software, and networking interfaces.
  • Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or related fields.
  • J-STD-001 certifiied
  • Familiarity with IPC Quality Standards, IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-7721, J-STD and other assembly and inspection standards.
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generator, power meters.
  • Experience with equipment calibration and metrology.
  • Experience with managing a lab environment.


US Hourly Range

$41.35-$53.85 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
