Join us in building the next generation of intelligent tools. As a Senior Electrical Engineer in Elyria, OH or Rockford, IL, you'll collaborate with Mechanical, Embedded Systems, and Software teams to turn bold concepts into reliable products that delight customers and fuel our growth. You'll drive the design of power and mixed-signal electronics for applications such as motor control, BLE connectivity, and electrical test & measurement. Your impact will be immediate and lasting!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Carry out circuit design and PCB layout while following relevant design standards.
  • Define, plan, and coordinate development, product qualification, safety, and regulatory-compliance testing.
  • Conduct concept feasibility assessments and technical risk evaluations for new products.
  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior engineers, including hands-on problem solving, and debugging.
  • Support field investigations, manufacturing, and supply chain issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with electrical engineering for product design.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States-sponsorship will not be provided.
  • Proficiency in circuit design and PCB layout.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Familiarity with electrical safety, functional safety, and EMC compliance standards.
  • Experience with reliability modeling and rugged environmental design.
  • Design experience with mass-produced electronics (PCBAs, cable assemblies, etc.).
  • Experience with embedded systems using microcontrollers.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
