Hybrid Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote
Salary: $150,000 - $190,000. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.

P2S is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Seattle office and contribute to Federal, Ports, Healthcare, Education, and infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in electrical design for these sectors and demonstrate strong technical expertise. Position Requirements:
Technical
3 Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
3 Registered Professional Engineer License is required
3 Minimum 10 years' experience in Ports, Federal, Healthcare, Education.
3 Demonstrate experience of leading electrical design projects
3 Strong experience in performing QAQC on multidisciplinary projects and mentor emerging professionals through challenging design and project management issues.
3 Demonstrated experience with preparing fee proposals and qualification packages for project pursuits.
3 Demonstrate project management skills, including preparing work breakdown structure, budget tracking, project schedule, client interface, and building long lasting relationship based on trust.
3 Experience using NEC, AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit required
3 Experience with different delivery methods like design-build, GCCM, and design-bid-build.
3 Experience with a variety of project types, including, but not limited to,
3 Electrical Equipment Replacement
3 Renovation - MEPT Design
3 New Construction - MEPT Design
3 Underground Electrical Infrastructure
3 Emergency Power System Design (Generator, UPS, Inverter)
3 Electrification

Duties:
Pre-Design Engineering
3 Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment reports.
3 Prepare electrical schematic designs.
Design Engineering
3 Design power single line and riser diagrams
3 Perform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKM.
3 Design low voltage and medium voltage infrastructure.
3 Design for electrical equipment (substation, switchboard, transformer, panelboard) replacement projects.
3 Understand and utilize CAD/BIM standards.
3 Have a working knowledge of National Electrical Code, Washington Codes and Energy Standards to design electrical systems.
3 Perform QAQC for electrical design
3 Coordination among different disciplines, such as mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural. Work in close contact with the entire design team.
Project Management
3 Lead projects with a service-first mindset, ensuring client expectations are met through clear communication and technically sound, high-quality deliverables
3 Oversee MEP design for medium to large sized projects while fostering collaboration and empowering emerging professionals
3 Mentor junior design engineers by sharing knowledge, encouraging innovation, and reinforcing a culture of continuous learning
3 Support the preparation of proposals for medium to large sized projects, promoting teamwork and business development
3 Mentor junior project managers by reviewing the proposals and providing constructive feedback and suggestions.
3 Uphold P2S standards for documentation and quality, reinforcing accountability and trust throughout the project lifecycle
Construction Administration
3 Provide timely, thoughtful responses to RFIs, maintaining a high level of service and client satisfaction throughout construction
3 Review submittals with a detail-oriented and quality-driven mindset to ensure engineering intent and code compliance
3 Foster collaboration and trust with contractors and field teams by being accessible, clear, and solution-oriented during construction phases
3 Participate in punch walks and prepare punch list reports with a focus on delivering excellence and functional completeness
3 Uphold accountability and integrity by ensuring that final systems reflect design intent and contribute to long-term client success
3 Serve as a technical advocate for the client during construction, proactively addressing challenges to maintain design vision and project momentum
