Job Description
Performs a full range of professional duties leading the identification, develop, design, and implementation of curriculum (programs, courses, content, and materials). Works collaboratively to design and implement educational activities including curriculum, continuing education, product and professional development within a collaborative practice framework. Conducts assessment of customer need, and evaluates curriculum success. Collaborates on day-to-day business components related to learning activities, including items such as marketing, financial management, and accreditation compliance, where appropriate.
This position is a combination of remote and on-site work; individual must live within a 100 mile driving distance to the Rochester Mayo Clinic campus.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree plus seven years relevant experience required. Master's Degree in education, product development, instructional design or a related field preferred.
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, organizational and self-directive skills. Experience with learning management systems or similar digital learning platforms. Demonstrated success in curriculum design and development. Digital learning knowledge and experience preferred. Knowledge of latest adult learning theory and practice. Business or educational product development and management experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant educational content and appropriate methods of delivery of education for adult learners. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with a variety of people, including internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work with others to accomplish goals through collaboration and coordination. Strong organizational skills and self-initiative; patience and the ability to effectively coach and mentor others.
Experience leading programs that support educator growth, teaching effectiveness, and academic career development. Designs, implements, and evaluates faculty education using evidence-informed adult learning principles.
Experience supporting medical educators' use of evidence-based education practices and emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence) in medical education. Leads faculty development sessions, develops practical resources, and evaluates adoption and impact to inform ongoing program refinement.
Experience creating multi-modal educational content, including workshops, online modules, toolkits, and digital resources. Supports faculty learning across formats.
Proven ability to partner with faculty, education leaders, and institutional stakeholders. Translates strategy into scalable, high-quality education programs with structured learning pathways, shared frameworks, and coordinated content delivery.
Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools. Uses metrics to inform decisions, track engagement, and measure outcomes.
Ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives. Maintains clear ownership for scope, timelines, quality, and outcomes.
Experience in applying process improvement and standardization. Uses automation to increase efficiency and reduce duplication in education operations.
Strong consultation and stakeholder engagement skills. Influences without formal authority and aligns diverse partners around shared goals.
Proven strategic communication and marketing skills. Develops clear, concise messaging and marketing materials to inform faculty, leaders, and stakeholders of AEE and faculty development initiatives, progress, and opportunities; maintains consistent communication across initiatives to support implementation and program success.
