About This Role

As a Senior E-Commerce Merchant, you will drive online sales, assortment strategy, promotional planning, and digital shopping improvements for the ecommerce business. You will manage product assortments across store fulfillment, distribution center, and direct to consumer offerings while using data to improve conversion and customer engagement. This role partners closely with merchandising, marketing, technology, operations, content, and analytics teams to create a seamless omnichannel shopping experience. You will negotiate vendor promotions, guide digital merchandising priorities, and support profitable growth through strong planning and execution. This position reports to the Online Merchandise Manager and helps shape the future ecommerce customer experience.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and execute online merchandising strategies that grow profitable sales
  • Manage online assortments across store fulfillment, distribution center, and direct to consumer offerings
  • Negotiate promotional pricing, vendor funding, cost concessions, and advertising opportunities
  • Use customer, sales, and site behavior data to improve conversion and shopping experience
  • Improve product findability through search, browse, placement, and content optimization
  • Partner with merchandising, marketing, technology, operations, content, and analytics teams
  • Forecast sales performance and build business cases for digital experience priorities
  • Coach, develop, and prioritize work for ecommerce merchandising team members


Who You Are

You are a strategic ecommerce merchant who enjoys using data, customer insights, and vendor partnerships to drive business results. You are collaborative, curious, and comfortable leading work across teams in a fast-paced digital retail environment.

Required Skills

$102900 - $128650 per year
