Senior Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Mgmt Architect (SCM) Lead - on site hybrid

Location: On-site hybrid open to travel to client locations in USA

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Primary Platform: Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM (D365 SCM)

Position Overview

As a D365 SCM Functional Solution Architect you can expect to...
• Act as Functional Solution Architect (SCM) on projects while implementing various modules of Microsoft D365 for Supply Chaing Mgmt
• Participate in pre-sales initiatives such as assessments, discovery sessions, proof of concept as needed
• Conduct Business Process Analysis (BPA) and Business Process Reengineering (BPE) workshops
• Create, finalize and sign-off on functional specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans
• Own the functional aspects of projects and lead a team of functional consultants; Review work products created by functional team members
• Hands-on system knowledge in manufacturing, advanced warehousing, costing, supply chain management processes in D365 FSCM to guide the consultants
• Lead conference room pilots and user acceptance testing sessions; Ensure a formal process is in place for issue resolution, specifically around the functional architecture and integration points of the implementation
• Collaborate with PM to create functional backlog in DevOps, sprint and iteration planning.

Act as escalation point for all functional design issues during a project
• Adhere to and improve implementation methodology as the business paradigm changes; Establish implementation and training best practices for F&O team and actively train on/disseminate information
• Research what's changing in the D365 space; Work with PMO to make recommendations on how we can adapt our implementations.
• Travel as the needs of clients and our business dictate

• Bachelor's Degree inBusiness Administration, Information Systems or related field, MS D365 SCM Certified highly desired
• 10+ years of experience architecting complex solutions in supply chain using D365 FO
• Project experience including assessment and analysis, designing business cases, envisioning, planning, and deployment of D365 solutions
• Ability to translate requirements created by the business and functional analysts into the architecture for the solution
• Ability to integrate with overall client test plan
• Hands-on experience with multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide implementations and experience on projects with integration to multiple third party solutions
• Proven record of delivering information systems business value at an executive level
• Ability to be the trusted voice at the decision-making table
• Working knowledge of ISV solutions
• Ability to move between high-level architectural review/design and the "roll up the sleeves" level of performing all phases of an application delivery project
• Strong working knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum-based implementations
• Confidence presenting to internal and external groups
• Microsoft D365 Solution Architect certifications
• Flexibility to travel as the needs of clients and our business dictate
