The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Drawings Change Specialist to support our Air Force customer at Warner Robins, GA. This position is part of our Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team supporting the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS).

In this role, you will lead the development, review, and baseline management of comprehensive technical documentation and system visualization artifacts—specifically system data flow diagrams, authorization/system boundary drawings, and hardware baseline configurations—to support continuous operational maintenance, engineering changes, and sustainment.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end system data flow diagrams (DFDs) depicting data ingest, processing pipelines, dissemination, and network routing across the AF DCGS architecture.
• Map communication protocols, port/protocol/service (PPS) information, and data exchange interfaces between hardware subsystems and external enclaves.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive dataflow diagrams detailing system devices, virtual server environments, and VLAN architectures across enterprise multi-system networks.
• Author and update formal System and Authorization Boundary Diagrams in accordance with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Air Force security guidelines.
• Clearly delineate hardware boundaries, interconnected networks, security perimeters, physical/logical separation zones, and cryptographic boundary interfaces.
• Create, interpret, and update basic to complex technical drawings, equipment rack elevations, schematics, cable plant run-sheets, and site installation layouts using Microsoft Visio and industry-standard drafting tools.
• Ingest engineer-provided redline drawings, sketches, blueprints, and drawing change requests (DCRs) to produce production-grade configuration baselines.
• Maintain strict configuration control over all drawing packages, baseline schematics, and technical change documentation across the AF DCGS operational SW/HW lifecycle.
• Conduct rigorous drawing audits and physical configuration audits (PCAs) to ensure drawing accuracy, standard symbol adherence, and compliance with project specifications.
• Research and analyze raw engineering and operational data to establish technical data packages supporting both organic depot and competitive commercial sustainment.
• Collaborate closely with systems engineers, network architects, cybersecurity specialists, and configuration managers to validate technical accuracy.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years of related engineering, configuration management, or technical documentation experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Visio (custom stencils, layered schematics, data-linked diagrams) or equivalent technical illustration software.
• 4+ years of direct experience developing, managing, baseline-controlling, and publishing technical data packages and architecture diagrams in an enterprise DoD/military IT/C4ISR environment.
• Proven ability to create and interpret logical/physical data flows, system security boundaries, and rack/hardware assembly schematics.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective technical writing and cross-functional communication abilities.

Desired:
• Specific domain knowledge of the AF DCGS architecture, lifecycle sustainment, and weapon system operational baselines.
• Working familiarity with DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) artifact requirements, including boundary documentation.
• Experience using automated CM tools or document repositories for version control and drawing release workflows.
• ITIL v4 or Configuration Management (e.g., CMPIC / CMII) certifications.
