Senior Network Specialist to join a large DOD program in
San Diego, CA.
Essential Duties of the
Senior Network Specialist:- Provides routine testing and analysis of network facilities
- Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- Troubleshoot network systems and performance as necessary
Qualifications of the
Senior Network Specialist:- Bachelors degree and 6 years of experience, Associates degree and 8 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment such as routers and switches.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with IPv6 protocol is required along with level 3 network protocols
Compensation for the
Senior Network Specialist:- $135,000 - $165,000 (based on experience)
