We are seeking a Senior Network Security Specialist for a 2-year contract starting August 10, 2026. This is a full-time hybrid position requiring 8 days on-site per month, with the possibility of overtime, including evenings and weekends, based on operational requirements. Candidates must hold a Secret Security Clearance, or have resided in Canada for a minimum of 10 years to be eligible to obtain a security clearance. This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise network security environment while contributing to critical modernization, security, and operational initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and evolving enterprise network security infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning network operations, security monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation, and technology evergreening. You will work extensively with Cisco routing and switching technologies, Check Point firewalls and security management platforms, and enterprise security controls to ensure the stability, performance, and security of the environment. The role requires experience supporting highly available service-oriented architectures, participating in CI/CD initiatives, and collaborating within Agile/SCRUM teams. Experience with ServiceNow is considered a strong asset. Ideal candidates will bring at least five years of recent experience in network operations and network security, along with strong technical problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
