ABOUT THE ROLE

TTM Technologies is seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer to join our global IT infrastructure team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of network and security disciplines - someone equally comfortable optimizing firewall policy and troubleshooting a complex routing issue before lunch.

This role operates across a large, geographically distributed enterprise environment spanning manufacturing sites, corporate offices, and data centers across North America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. The right candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise firewall platforms, large-scale switching and routing, and the drive to automate and continuously improve everything they touch.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise firewall policy across a global environment - including rule lifecycle management, audits, optimization, and governance
• Provide network routing and switching support across a complex, multi-site infrastructure - including campus, data center, and WAN environments
• Support and administer enterprise wireless infrastructure, including centralized management platforms and controller-based architectures
• Serve as a technical liaison between network and security functions - owning cross-team requests end-to-end to ensure accountability and execution
• Develop and maintain automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to reduce manual toil and enforce configuration consistency
• Administer and enforce network access control policies, ensuring only authorized devices and users gain access to appropriate network segments
• Contribute to network and security projects supporting ongoing global expansion, including new site buildouts and data center additions
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for network and security events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Enterprise firewall engineering expertise - deep, hands-on experience with a leading enterprise NGFW platform, covering both security policy management and network routing integration (not just one or the other)
• Large-scale switching and routing experience - enterprise-grade LAN/WAN environments including high-density data center switching, campus switching, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Network access control - experience designing, deploying, or managing NAC solutions to enforce device posture, authentication, and segmentation policy across a large enterprise environment
• Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code - working proficiency with configuration management and automation tooling (e.g., Ansible or equivalent) and version control (Git)
• CLI-first mindset - you write the commands; you don't open a ticket for someone else to write them
• Dual-domain competency - genuine, demonstrable experience in both network engineering and security engineering; candidates with depth in only one area will not be considered
• 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network and/or security engineering roles

STRONGLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active or recently held professional-level certifications in enterprise networking and/or enterprise firewall platforms - recognized vendor certifications at the professional or expert level are a strong differentiator
• Experience with centralized network management platforms for large-scale switch and wireless fleet management
• Familiarity with enterprise wireless architecture, including controller-based and cloud-managed deployments
• Cloud networking experience - hybrid connectivity, cloud-native security enforcement, and network integration in a major public cloud environment (Azure preferred)
• Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to multinational manufacturing operations (e.g., data privacy, defense supply chain, export control, or similar)
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally on an as-needed basis

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
