We are seeking a
Senior Network Security Engineer with deep expertise in
Check Point firewalls to support a large enterprise network security environment. This hands-on role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting firewall infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall and network security solutions.
- Manage Check Point R80+, VSX, CloudGuard, and VMware NSX-T firewall environments.
- Design and maintain firewall policies, VPN solutions, and cloud security controls.
- Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex network security incidents.
- Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to implement secure network solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security best practices.
Required Qualifications- 6+ years of enterprise network or network security engineering experience.
- Current Check Point CCSE certification (or higher).
- Hands-on experience with Check Point R80+, VSX, and Maestro.
- Strong networking knowledge including routers, switches, VLANs, OSPF, and TCP/IP.
- Experience securing AWS environments.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications- VMware NSX-T Distributed Firewall experience.
- Azure and/or GCP experience.
- Experience with AlgoSec or FireMon.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Cisco or cloud certifications.
