CTC is looking for a Senior Network Administrator who will support the deployment, management, and optimization of secure network systems within a government environment. The role involves configuring and maintaining networking equipment, monitoring performance, resolving connectivity issues, and ensuring adherence to federal cybersecurity and compliance standards. This position requires close coordination with IT teams, and other program stakeholders to maintain operational continuity and ensure network systems remain secure, scalable, and responsive to evolving mission needs.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable secure network solutions.
- Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational IT needs.
- Maintain compliance with security protocols and client standards.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Possibility of shift work
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering or related field.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Security+ certification
Preferred Qualifications- Experience administering HAIPE (High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor) devices within secure network environments.
- Experience supporting COMSEC (Communications Security) equipment and cryptographic network devices.
- Experience working with DISA CCSD and government circuit provisioning/management related to DoD networks.
- Experience administering VMware NSX-T virtual networking environments.
