As the
Senior Network Engineer, you will...
- Implementing operating systems and network device security configuration in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved Security Technical Implementation Guides.
- Specifying, configuring, and administering boundary devices (i.e., managed switches, proxy servers, routers, firewalls, cryptography, and intrusion detection systems); managing remote switches and routing.
- Performing vulnerability assessments using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker, incorporating automated Benchmarks.
- Correcting flaws and implementing technical controls in the hardware or software installed within the network environment.
- Managing, architecting, and implementing physical networks to include logical need-to-know separation between data.
- Position may require flexibility in working hours.

Requirements
What You'll Bring:Required Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information System Management from an ABET accredited institution or IA/CS technology field of study. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience as a network technician/engineer on a DISN-connected DoD network is required.
Preferred Qualifications:- 9 years of experience of Implementing operating systems and network devices security configuration in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved Security Technical Implementation Guides.
- Proven experience specifying, configuring, and administering boundary devices (i.e. managed switches, proxy servers, routers, firewalls, cryptography, and intrusion detection systems); experience in remote switch and router management.
- Demonstration of advanced experience conducting vulnerability assessments using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker, incorporating automated Benchmarks.
- Correcting flaws and implementing technical controls in the hardware or software installed within a network environment.
- Extensive experience managing DoD Host-Based-Security Systems (HBSS).
- Extensive experience managing, architecting, and implementing physical networks to include logical need-to-know separation between data.
- Advanced knowledge of the DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management Program (IAVMP).

Security Clearance Requirement:- This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
