Job SummaryWe are looking for a strategic, high-energy Senior Distribution Marketing Manager to lead and scale our marketing strategy with our top-tier distribution partners. In this role, you will be the bridge between Palo Alto Networks and our distributors, driving "to-distribution" and "through-distribution" marketing initiatives that accelerate pipeline growth and expand our market footprint.
Your focus will be on managing the dissemination of marketing materials, coordinating go-to-market strategies and driving sales across specific channels and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Joint Marketing Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive annual and quarterly marketing plans with key distributors aligned to Palo Alto Networks core strategic pillars.
- Demand Generation & Campaign Execution: Collaborate to develop and launch scalable "through-disti" marketing campaigns targeting Distribution Managed Partners
- MDF Management & ROI Optimization: Oversee the allocation, approval, and compliance of Marketing Development Funds (MDF). Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, ensuring a high return on marketing spend.
- Partner Enablement & Engagement: Create and deliver compelling enablement tools, training modules, and incentive programs to keep Palo Alto Networks top-of-mind for distributor sales and marketing teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary marketing liaison between channel sales leaders, campaign creators and commercial field marketing teams to ensure messaging alignment.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of cybersecurity industry trends and distribution landscapes to identify new, innovative marketing channels and tactics.
Qualifications - Experience: 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 4 years dedicated specifically to channel or distribution marketing within the technology or software space (Cybersecurity experience is a massive plus).
- Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of the two-tier distribution model and proven experience working with major distributors (e.g., TD SYNNEX, Arrow, Ingram Micro).
- Financial Acumen: Strong experience managing complex MDF budgets, proof-of-performance compliance, and translating marketing metrics into business pipeline.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with executive stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Tools & Tech: Proficiency with Salesforce, Allocadia, and partner portal platforms (PRM).

Compensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
