Senior Distribution EngineerAs part of our continued growth, we're expanding our presence in Philadelphia with a new office and an exciting utility distribution project. We're seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of utility distribution experience, preferably with PPL Electric Utilities, to support this expansion.
The Senior Distribution Engineer will lead and coordinate complex electric distribution designs, perform thorough QA/QC reviews of engineering deliverables, and provide technical guidance to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with client standards.
Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Leads projects and project team in the execution of several mid-to-large scale projects
- Communicates and coordinates project activities with internal team members
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) design reviews and Peer Reviews for all project documents
- Performs peer reviews and mentors project team members
- Assists in the preparation of scoping documents and fees
- Prepares and reviews project drawings in TED
- Resolves design questions and technical concerns
- Provides excellent client/customer service
Requirements:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology Preferred
- P.E. Preferred
- 8 years minimum of experience with Distribution Design, experience preferred
- Knowledge of PPL Electric Utilities standards and distribution design practices is preferred.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards
- Ability to interface effectively with clients, employees, and management team is essential
- Motivated to continually take on more responsibility and lead the team
