Senior Director, Digital to join our team. This is a leadership role designed for a social and digital expert who excels at translating vision into action at the intersection of social-first strategy, creator culture, and digital innovation.
Reporting to the
SVP, National Lead, Digital, you will help operationalize the SVP's overarching vision, lead the day-to-day execution of high-value digital and social strategies, and oversee the daily operations of a talented, growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital & Social Strategies: Partner closely with the SVP, National Lead, to build digital, social, and influencer strategies, ensuring they are executed flawlessly and align with clients' business objectives.
- Trend Application: Keep a pulse on digital trends, emerging platforms, algorithm shifts, GEO best practices, and creator economy dynamics, finding impactful ways to integrate them into client campaigns and programs.
- Client Partner: Serve as a trusted digital partner to client contacts, guiding them through the execution of digital campaigns, influencer programs, and social strategies.
- Measurement & Reporting: Implement attribution and measurement frameworks to track and prove the ROI of digital and social campaigns to clients.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Manage daily workflows, resource allocation, and campaign budgets across the digital portfolio to ensure profitability and on-time delivery.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Foster seamless collaboration between the digital team and internal partner teams (PR, Creative, Strategy, Intelligence) to ensure integrated and agile campaign execution.
- Pitch Support: Participate in the development of digital/social strategies and support the presentation of winning proposals.
- Team Management: Manage, mentor, and inspire the day-to-day work of a high-performing team of digital and social specialists, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented culture.
- Internal Advocacy: Champion the digital practice internally, helping to educate the wider agency on digital capabilities and workflow integration.
Qualifications
- 10-12 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and influencer relations (ideally within an agency environment).
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of direct reports.
- Strong operational skills, with a track record of successfully managing project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative mindset-someone who thrives as a key partner and executor to a practice leader.
