Description

About This Role:

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Engineering Leader to pioneer and scale our AI-first development program. In this role, you will architect and lead a complete AI-first Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), transforming how we build, test, and deploy enterprise software. You will blend cutting-edge agentic AI engineering with robust cloud architecture; specifically driving a major platform migration from GCP to AWS. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership position designed for someone who knows how to move AI from a flashy proof-of-concept (POC) into robust, general availability (GA) production solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

AI-First Software Development Leadership
  • Proven experience in architecting and leading a complete AI-first Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, specifically involving agentic development from code generation through testing and QA.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize and maximize the efficiency of AI tools, such as Claude, to achieve significant acceleration in development velocity (e.g., >80% AI Code on critical projects).
  • Expertise in establishing an "AI Playbook" and "Fast Fail techniques and processes" to successfully transition AI-developed prototypes and demos into production-ready solutions (POC to GA).
  • Deep experience in developing agentic AI, including defining and building Agents, harnesses, and agent skill bundles to apply context on a platform.

Platform & Architecture Expertise (MCP & Cloud)
  • Direct experience developing and implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, ensuring data is exposed in a structured, evidence-citable, and auth-scoped way for consuming agents.
  • Strong background in platform consolidation and migration, specifically transitioning GCP workloads to a consolidated AI-first platform on AWS.
  • Deep technical knowledge of AWS Bedrock AgentCore and building robust guardrails.

Technical and Strategic Alignment
  • Ability to lead software teams covering the entire development process, from technical demos to general release, including multiple rounds of testing and QA.
  • Background in enterprise-scale software engineering, connected devices, and the fusion of proprietary wireless innovation (like BLE, GPS, LoRa) with AI/ML-driven location intelligence solutions.
  • Strategic leadership experience in a technology company serving the healthcare, automotive, or logistics sectors, focused on delivering real-time location data and intelligence.
  • Proven track record in optimizing SDLCs, managing team growth, and driving measurable outcomes that align with company strategy, such as consolidating platforms to enhance scalability and optimize costs.

Benefits and Perks:

We are pleased to offer the following:
  • Competitive salaries
  • Unlimited vacation so you can rest and recharge
  • Full benefits program (Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, life and disability insurance)
  • Parental Leave
