Position Overview:We're seeking a Senior Director, Social Analytics to build and lead a global social analytics function from the ground up - one built for how social measurement works in 2026. This Senior Director, Social Analytics leader will manage four regional Managers, setting the standard for how the team turns social data into action across every market SharkNinja competes in.
We've built a strong social dataset using both established platforms and tools we've built ourselves - the foundation is there. What's still ahead is making it agentic: moving from a team that manually digs through the data to one that runs AI agents against it, so the insight that actually drives action surfaces from the haystack before anyone has to go looking for it. This is not a caretaker role - you'll be hands-on with the hardest problems while building the organization, talent, and operating model this function needs long-term, and you need to be genuinely excited about leading that shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Global Leadership & Team Management: Directly manage four regional Managers, setting global measurement frameworks, standards, and priorities, while ensuring consistency and shared best practices across regions.
- Build & Scale the Function: Own both the immediate analytical work and the longer-term vision - doing the work and building the team and operating model simultaneously.
- AI-Powered Analytics Vision: Champion and direct the team's shift toward AI-powered, agent-driven insight generation - moving away from manual reporting toward faster, more scalable ways of surfacing what matters.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Serve as the senior analytical partner to social strategy and its stakeholders - regional social and marketing leaders, creative, brand, and senior executives.
- Social Analytics Expertise: Lead performance measurement across organic, influencer, paid, and earned channels - from content engagement and community growth to campaign ROI and long-term brand impact.
- Listening & Signal Detection: Oversee global social listening and intelligence to identify emerging trends, sentiment shifts, competitor activity, and viral moments - surfacing risks and opportunities early.
- Executive Influence: Deliver compelling, concise insight narratives to senior leadership that directly shape global investment and brand strategy.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Brand, Creative, IMC, Media, Product, and Regional Marketing to drive social-first strategy.
Attributes & Skills:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in analytics with a significant focus on social media analytics, including direct people-leadership experience managing managers across a distributed, regional team.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as both a hands-on practitioner and a strategic leader.
- Deep expertise measuring global social media performance across paid, organic, influencer, and earned ecosystems.
- Experience applying advanced data visualization, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- A genuine curiosity for AI-powered and agentic workflows, with a track record of using them to scale insight generation beyond what manual analysis could deliver.
- Strong knowledge of platform analytics (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and social listening tools.
- Experience building and leading global analytics teams in consumer-driven industries (CPG, retail, lifestyle).
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence.
