Full Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for ensuring we have a team of strong product managers. You will focus on developing and coaching product managers.
  • Accountable for leading a team of product managers to ensure the solutions are valuable and viable. You will gain deep knowledge of our customers and business constraints - from marketing, merchandising, customer service, finance, legal, and of course, technology.
  • Help develop product managers who commit to delivering outcomes, not dates!
  • Be a Play-Coach, one who is willing to roll up the sleeves as needed to lead by excellence.
  • Responsible for ensuring the team of product managers is solving the right problems that go beyond the symptoms of issues.
  • Assist with quarterly planning and assigning objectives (problems to solve) to product teams.
  • Ensure the team of product managers develops the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company's long-term vision while delivering tangible impact against business objectives for their product.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: Proven track record over multiple years as an individual contributor product manager responsible for delivering impact in B2C product experience in mobile and web applications.
  • Bonus: Retail eCommerce is your bread and butter.
  • Quick Learner: Proven ability to go deep and quickly learn new domains; strong demonstration of business acumen in major parts of the business (i.e., merchandising, marketing, finance, legal, etc.)
  • Process Expert: Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery - with a focus on impact over meeting delivery dates.
  • Servant-based Leader: Lead by context, not control. Has a track record of coaching and developing other people. Demonstrate a clear understanding of your role as the primary coach of your product managers, and how that differs from managing products directly.
  • Collaborative: Proven track record of delivering results through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Willing to give and accept critical feedback.
  • Analytical: Sharp analytical and quantitative skills; makes data-driven decisions using quantitative and qualitative insights. You're creative in using alternative sources to gain insights when there's no data.

The base salary range for this position is $250k-$300k per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
