What you'll do

As Senior Director of Platform Product Marketing, you will own and evolve the narrative for our IAM platform, crafting and sharing Docusign's story with the world in the most engaging, persuasive way possible. In this people-leadership role, you'll manage a world-class team of product marketers to drive integrated launches, define differentiated positioning, and accelerate demand, adoption, and retention of our platform globally.

You will operate as a key cross-functional leader and strategic partner to Product, Sales, Growth, and Docusign leadership, ensuring our platform story is cohesive, customer-backed, and tightly aligned to the businesses top priorities for Agreement transformation.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Vice President of Product and Customer Marketing.

Responsibility
  • Create, lead, run, and measure the platform marketing strategy and programs that showcase the value of Docusign's platform and capabilities to target markets, including clear, differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions
  • Lead the development of high-impact messaging, storytelling frameworks, and assets (e.g., narratives, pitch decks, demos, web content, case studies) required globally, and collaborate with Sales Enablement to ensure content and tools are effectively deployed
  • Ensure the product roadmap aligns with market demand and that go-to-market (GTM) teams are equipped to sell new platform capabilities immediately upon release, partnering with Product Management on packaging, pricing, and launch communications
  • Support strategic customer, analyst, and internal events (e.g., conferences, executive briefings, sales kickoffs) by owning the development of presentations, sessions, and training
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of platform product marketers, setting clear priorities, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of customer-centric storytelling and measurable impact


Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic
  • 15+ years of product marketing (or similar) experience in the B2B SaaS space
  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies and innovative programs that drive product and solutions adoption
  • Ability to collaborate and drive alignment cross-functionally with teams across product and sales to maximize business success

Preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • MBA degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong record of successful people management and leadership
  • Experience in one or more of the following categories: Contract Lifecycle Management, Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), Customer Relationship Management, Document Generation
  • Self-starter who can drive cross-functional initiatives with minimal guidance
  • Consistent record of understanding and simplifying complex, technical topics for non-technical audiences


Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $233,300.00 - $373,525.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:
  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
