This position is eligible for teleworking , which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective hire date.

Position Objective:

The Senior Director, OMNY Commercial Operations & Governance serves as the lead management representative responsible for OMNY's commercial performance, operational governance, financial oversight, vendor accountability, revenue integrity, and steady-state operational performance. This role provides centralized coordination across Finance, Operations, Revenue Control, Technology, Customer Service, and Cubic to ensure alignment of operational priorities, executive reporting, risk management, and strategic decision-making. The position serves as the primary point of escalation for complex cross-functional issues and is responsible for driving operational accountability, performance transparency, and continuous improvement across the OMNY program.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain the enterprise performance and governance framework for OMNY, spanning cost, revenue, KPIs, vendor performance, and delivery outcomes
• Coordinate the work of the three areas below and resolve trade-offs between cost, reliability, revenue protection, and delivery priorities
• Prepare executive dashboards, briefings, and decision materials for the CFO, Program Executive, and senior leadership
• Oversee governance forums, including Failure Review Boards, vendor performance reviews, and escalation processes
• Ensure OMNY cost and performance assumptions align with the MTA Financial Plan, forecasts, and risk assessments
• Serve as the primary escalation point for cross-functional OMNY issues requiring executive resolution

Required Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Executive communication and stakeholder management

• Performance reporting and KPI management

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Transportation, Public Policy, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial, department head, or senior leadership role within a large, complex, fast-paced organization.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) may be substituted for up to 1-2 years of relevant experience.
